James Deangelo Peoples, a 22-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed on December 8, 2016, in Delray Beach, Florida. The incident occurred at a Chevron gas station located at 1909 W. Atlantic Ave. Peoples was attempting to enter the gas station when Delinord Dumercy, who was 25 years old at the time, shot him at point-blank range.
