Kwame Jones, a 17-year-old from Jacksonville, FL, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2020, during a police-involved shooting. The incident occurred when Officer Nicholas Lawson of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of being stolen. The vehicle, carrying Jones and two other passengers, fled at high speeds, eventually crashing into a concrete pole.
