Richard Eugene Avery, a 45-year-old man from Fort Pierce, Florida, was found dead on March 9, 2020. Deputies from the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of gunfire at 604 South Market Avenue just before 1 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Avery's body inside a home.
