Jeffery Kennell Jr., a 16-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 29, 2020. He was fatally shot multiple times while standing outside his apartment at the Forest Creek Apartments on Patton Drive. The incident occurred late at night, around 11 p.m., when Escambia County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Kennell with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
