Jaquan Berry, a 19-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2018, in a fatal shooting incident. The events leading to his death began when Shauntareeya Jones and Shalen Yeldon contacted Berry through social media to purchase marijuana. The meeting took place at the intersection of Edison and Trenton Drives. During the transaction, Jones and Yeldon attempted to pay Berry with a counterfeit $100 bill.
