Dequan Reshai Saxton, a 20-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 17, 2021. Saxton was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 4600 block of Roanoke Boulevard, where he lived. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into his death, which was later linked to gang-related activities in the area.
