Dustin Wakefield, a 21-year-old father from Castle Rock, Colorado, was tragically shot and killed on August 24, 2021, while dining with his family at a restaurant in Miami Beach, Florida. Wakefield was on vacation with his wife and their 1-year-old son when the incident occurred. According to reports, the family was seated at an outdoor patio of La Cerveceria restaurant on Ocean Drive when a gunman, later identified as 22-year-old Tamarius Blair Davis Jr. from Norcross, Georgia, approached them.
