On August 20, 2017, Ozzy Jorge, a 23-year-old resident of Miami Gardens, was fatally shot in Miami Beach, Florida. The incident occurred early Sunday morning along the 1200 block of Collins Avenue. Miami Beach Police responded to reports of shots fired just before 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Jorge with gunshot wounds and immediately transported him to Ryder Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.
