In the spring of 2016, the life of 29-year-old Kevon Gant was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. A Black male, Gant was found on the afternoon of May 23rd in the 5400 block of Nelson Avenue. He had sustained a gunshot wound and was rushed to Sinai Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
The incident left a void in the lives of his loved ones, who remembered him as a man with a special gift for caring for people, particularly the elderly and children in his community.
