Jonathan Simmons, aged 43, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2022, in Jay, Florida. The incident occurred at his home, where he was fatally shot by his 16-year-old son, Jaden Simmons. According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened following a heated argument between the father and son. Jaden shot his father in the chest with a shotgun loaded with buckshot, resulting in Jonathan Simmons being pronounced dead at the scene.
