Maude Matilda Hughey Kemper, aged 66, was tragically murdered on August 27, 1964, at her ranch in North Fork, California. Maude, along with her husband Edmund Kemper Sr., fell victim to a brutal crime committed by their grandson, Edmund Kemper III. The incident occurred when Edmund Kemper III, who was 15 years old at the time, shot his grandmother while she was inside the house.
