Paul Frederick Herzberg, aged 30, tragically lost his life on July 12, 1976, during a horrific mass shooting at California State University, Fullerton. Herzberg, a college photographer, was one of seven victims killed in what became known as the Fullerton Massacre. The perpetrator, Edward Charles Allaway, a custodian at the university, carried out the attack in the campus library.
