Donald Eugene Karges, aged 41, tragically lost his life on July 12, 1976, in Fullerton, California. Karges was one of the victims of a horrific mass shooting at the California State University, Fullerton library. The perpetrator, Edward Charles Allaway, was a custodian at the university who went on a shooting spree, killing seven people and wounding two others.
