David Flores Delgado, an 11-year-old boy from San Ysidro, California, tragically lost his life on July 18, 1984, during the infamous San Ysidro McDonald's massacre. This horrific event, which remains one of the deadliest mass shootings in California's history, saw 41-year-old James Huberty open fire at a McDonald's restaurant, killing 21 people and wounding 19 others before being fatally shot by a police sniper.
