On July 18, 1984, Baby Reyes tragically lost their life during a horrific mass shooting at a McDonald's restaurant in San Ysidro, California. This incident, known as the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre, resulted in the deaths of 21 people, including Baby Reyes and their mother, Jackie Wright Reyes.
