Damani Osei Garner-Alexander, aged 13, tragically lost his life on August 31, 1984, in a case of mistaken identity in Los Angeles, California. He was one of four victims in a brutal shooting that also claimed the lives of his grandmother, Ebora Alexander, 58; his aunt, Dietra Alexander, 24; and his cousin, Damon Bonner, 8.
