Dellane Mabrey, a 16-year-old from Oakland, California, tragically lost her life on December 8, 1986, in a horrific mass shooting. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when David "Moochie" Welch, her former boyfriend, broke into the Mabrey family home. Welch, accompanied by his then-girlfriend Rita Lewis, forcibly entered the house and opened fire on the sleeping occupants.
