Jack B. Miller, a 33-year-old deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, tragically lost his life on January 8, 1988, during a narcotics raid in South Central Los Angeles. Deputy Miller, who had served with the department for 12 years, was part of a team executing a search warrant at a residence on West 55th Street.
