Mary Louise "Kitty" Menendez, aged 48, was tragically murdered on August 20, 1989, in her Beverly Hills home. Kitty, along with her husband, Jose Menendez, was found brutally killed in their living room. The initial investigation suggested a possible burglary gone wrong, but this theory was soon dismissed as evidence pointed towards a more sinister plot. The couple's sons, Lyle and Erik Menendez, were eventually arrested and charged with the murders.
