Jack Berman, a 36-year-old attorney from San Francisco, tragically lost his life on July 1, 1993, in a mass shooting at 101 California Street. On that fateful day, Gian Luigi Ferri, armed with multiple firearms, entered the high-rise building and began shooting indiscriminately.
