Thomas Benton Worley, a 32-year-old officer with the Los Angeles County Safety Police, tragically lost his life on December 21, 1994. Officer Worley was off duty and shopping with his wife at a shoe store located at the intersection of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Roscoe Boulevard when he observed a robbery in progress.
