Cheng Peng, an 18-year-old from San Gabriel, California, tragically lost his life on August 1, 1995. His death was a result of a violent crime spree carried out by members of the Asian Boyz gang, a notorious criminal organization active in the San Gabriel Valley during the 1990s. Cheng Peng, along with Paul Vu and Ben Liao, was mistakenly identified as a member of a rival Taiwanese-based gang, leading to his untimely death.
