Paul Vu, a 16-year-old from San Gabriel, California, tragically lost his life on August 1, 1995, in a violent incident that shocked the community. Paul was one of three victims in a car-to-car shooting on the 10 Freeway near Temple City Boulevard. The attack was carried out by members of the Asian Boyz gang, who mistakenly believed that Paul and his friends, Cheng Peng and Ben Liao, were members of a rival Taiwanese-based gang.
