Dixie Lee Hollier, a 42-year-old Warner Bros. record executive, was brutally murdered on January 16, 1996, in her Burbank, California home. The crime was committed by her daughter, Amber Bray, and Bray's boyfriend, Jeffrey Ayers. The couple meticulously planned the murder over several weeks, driven by the motive of inheriting Hollier's $310,000 life insurance proceeds.
