Ennis William Cosby, the only son of comedian Bill Cosby, was tragically murdered on January 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. Ennis, who was 27 years old at the time, was shot in the head by 18-year-old Mikhail Markhasev during a failed robbery attempt. The incident occurred near Interstate 405 when Ennis was changing a flat tire on his car.
