Samuel Soto, a 44-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, died on November 2, 2021, from injuries sustained in an officer-involved shooting. The incident occurred on July 26, 2021, when Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responded to a call about a man with a knife acting erratically.
