Jose Santos Mejia, a 32-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on March 18, 2018, in the Florence neighborhood of South Los Angeles. According to coroner's records, the incident occurred shortly after 3:45 a.m. when Mejia was pulling out of a driveway in a dark-colored sedan.
