In the fading light of a November evening in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 35-year-old Tyson R. LaFrance, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On November 11, 2015, authorities responded to a call in the 800 block of 17th Street, where they found LaFrance suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, but the efforts to save him were in vain, and he was pronounced dead.
