One person was killed in a shooting Wednesday night in west Birmingham.
The shooting was reported at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Fifth Avenue Southwest. Birmingham police say the man was located behind his apartment suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim, Tyson R. Lafrance, 35, of Birmingham, was pronounced dead on the scene.
