Jose Negrete Huaxtitta, a 21-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on January 11, 2006, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Huaxtitta was fatally shot at the southeast corner of Houston and North Soto streets. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
