In the spring of 2017, the life of Victor Lane, a 50-year-old male from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Friday, April 14, 2017, Lane was riding his bicycle in his Northwest Baltimore neighborhood when he was fatally shot. His untimely death was part of a particularly violent day in the city, occurring on the very same street where a 16-year-old boy had been killed just hours earlier.
