Misael Mendoza, an 18-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2007, in Los Angeles, California. Mendoza was walking on the street at the intersection of Saint Louis Street and Michigan Avenue in Boyle Heights when he was shot multiple times.
