Mark Leonard, a 43-year-old man from Compton, California, was tragically shot multiple times on January 18, 2008. The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. in the 400 block of North Wilmington Avenue. Leonard was at his car wash, finishing up his work for the day, when he was attacked. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead at 6:44 p.m. the following day. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and no arrests have been made in connection with his murder.
