On November 21, 2008, Andres Iraheta, a 9-year-old boy from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life in a horrific incident. Andres was shot and killed by his father, Jorge Cruz Iraheta, in their home located in the 4200 block of Normal Avenue in the Silver Lake neighborhood. The tragic event unfolded around 10:21 p.m. when Jorge, who had violated a restraining order, confronted his wife, Marta Iraheta, leading to a fatal altercation.
