Sylvia Pardo, aged 43, tragically lost her life on December 24, 2008, in Covina, California, in what became known as the Covina massacre. The incident occurred during a Christmas Eve party at her parents' home. Her ex-husband, Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, carried out the attack.
