Ronald Carter, a young black man in his 20s, was tragically shot and killed on March 29, 2009, in Compton, California. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of E. Rosecrans Avenue. Carter was one of three individuals who lost their lives in what authorities later described as a robbery gone wrong.
