Jose Augusto Caceros, a 41-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on October 25, 2009, in Wilmington, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. as Caceros was climbing the steps to his girlfriend’s home in the 400 block of Gulf Avenue.
