Juan Francisco Romero Gordillo, a 58-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on November 7, 2018. He was found unresponsive in his car on the Soto Street on-ramp to the 10 Freeway in Boyle Heights. A California Highway Patrol officer discovered him in his dark green Toyota Corolla with the engine still running. Romero had been shot through the driver’s side window, causing his car to veer and crash into the left shoulder of the freeway.
