Adrian Joshua Shije, a 17-year-old American Indian, tragically lost his life on September 20, 2015, in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood, near West Avenue 28 and Barranca Street. According to reports, residents in the area heard gunshots shortly after 2 p.m. and discovered Shije lying in the intersection, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
