Luis Eduardo Perez, a 15-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on December 7, 2009, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near a bus stop on the 2100 block of East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue. According to reports, Perez was standing at the bus stop when an unknown assailant approached him and fired multiple shots.
