Jenny Sor, a 40-year-old woman from Monterey Park, California, was tragically shot and killed on January 19, 2010. The incident occurred in the 200 block of North Chandler Avenue, where Sor and her boyfriend, Wenwa Chao, were visiting a senior housing facility where Chao's father resided. The shooting took place just before 8 p.m., and both Sor and Chao were pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities quickly identified the suspect as Richard Vithya Tauch, Sor's ex-boyfriend.
