Jeremiah Zapata, a 25-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on April 10, 2011, in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Raymond Avenue. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Zapata was involved in a dispute with an unidentified suspect who opened fire and then fled the scene on foot.
