Webster Anthony Brown III, a 49-year-old man, was tragically shot on August 4, 2015, while standing on the front porch of a home in the 1500 block of West 53rd Street in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 12:55 a.m. when an unknown assailant fired at Brown, striking him in the head.
