On May 3, 2011, 14-year-old Sandra Salgado and 16-year-old Fernando Felix Solano were tragically killed in a shooting at Libby Lake Park in Oceanside, California. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when the two teenagers, who were reportedly not involved in any gang activities, were hanging out at the park. The park was known to be a hotspot for gang-related violence, and on that fateful night, it became the scene of a brutal crime.
