Brandon Deshawn Blanton, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2011. According to reports, Blanton was fatally shot in the 7800 block of South Vermont Avenue in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. as Blanton was leaving a party and walking to his car.
