Jesus Rendon, a 36-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on November 30, 2011, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to coroner's records, the incident occurred in the 2100 block of City View Avenue. Rendon and Art Gomez, a 31-year-old Latino, were standing outside a house shortly after midnight when five unknown men approached them.
