Demetric Carr, a 26-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot and killed on October 12, 2017. The incident occurred near Rodeo Road and Chesapeake Avenue in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of shots fired around 3:35 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Carr suffering from gunshot wounds.
