On March 24, 2024, at approximately 5:05 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision at the intersection of Ninth Street and Stanford Avenue in the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle, described as a possible Honda, that had crashed into a building. Inside the vehicle, officers found 30-year-old Los Angeles resident Franze Bledsoe, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 5:27 a.m.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner later confirmed Bledsoe's identity and determined the manner of death to be homicide, with the cause being a gunshot wound to the chest.
As of now, there have been no reports of arrests or identification of suspects related to Bledsoe's death.
