Meldrick Melgoza, a 16-year-old from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2012. Meldrick and his girlfriend, Carolina Ramirez, were both shot and killed in Wilmington, a neighborhood in Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 500 block of Bay View Avenue. According to reports, an unknown assailant approached the couple and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene. Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene.
