Death by Force

Miguel Chavez, an 18-year-old Latino, was tragically killed on October 9, 2011, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, Chavez was fatally shot in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Chicago Street, where an unknown assailant approached Chavez and shot him three times. The shooting took place around 1:45 a.m., and Chavez succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
