Ruben Reyes Roque, a 33-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on October 10, 2016, near North Western Avenue and Romaine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Roque was dropped off at a hospital by a private vehicle with gunshot wounds shortly after 12:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at 12:55 a.m. at the hospital.
